Capital Fund List 2017

A welcome change that started in 2015 is going strong in 2016!

Working with Imagine-It Media Consutlants, we’re activley searching for screenplays looking for funding. So far, we have three great projects in various stages of pre-production ~ “Vineyard”, “Gord” and “Somebody Else” are all well-written, commercially viable scripts we can’t wait to bring to the screen.

This is just the start of new things to come…

Sistar Films is gearing toward more long form projects in 2014!

2013 was the year of the TV sizzle reel with multiple shows in development as well as a few new feature film scripts.  Stay tuned for updates!!

2011 turned out to be a buzz!  Lots of work happening ~ TV spots for Best Buy, Turbo Tax, Orencia, Northwest Territories Tourism and Pan Territorial Tourism, as well as a few road trips to shoot online videos for the Ministry of Health and Translink… to name a few of the great projects that have been keeping us busy!!  One of the things I enjoy most is meeting and getting to work with such amazing, talented and fabulous people ~ you know who you are!  Cheers to keeping it up in 2012.  A stellar New Year to everyone 🙂

THE FOUR COURSEMEN has been nominated for a 2011 James Beard Foundation Award in the category of Broadcast Media (Television Special/Documentary)!!  Good luck to the entire team ~ it was a remarkable experience working with you on this project!

What an amazing year we had in 2008!  Telefilm came on board to develop both of our feature film projects, we attended the Toronto, Vancouver and Whistler Film Festivals, and moved all of our projects forward ~ including the multi-media platform for Eco-Chic TV.  Stand by for news on the launch!!  Looking forward to an exciting and ridiculously successful 2009 ~ for everyone!

The PRAYING MANTIS (back page) is officially in development with the participation of Telefilm Canada. Writer Chris Wilkinson will have the final draft ready in time for pitching at the Toronto International Film Festival! The comedy about a dispirited former crime fighter unprepared for his second chance in the limelight reveals that courage comes in many forms ~ even in green tights!
